Past Work
Our experience spans complex, regulated and specialist environments, with work delivered across four continents. We’ve led communications and stakeholder engagement programmes directly, and we’ve also supported established in-house teams with additional capacity and external perspective. Alongside this, we help organisations selling into niche or technical markets articulate what they do clearly, reach the specific audiences they need to reach, and support commercial objectives such as increased enquiries and sales. Whether the goal is trust, understanding or growth, our focus remains the same: clear, credible marketing and communication that resonates with the right people.

Stakeholder Engagement
Aye Media provided communications, media liaison and stakeholder engagement support for the M8, M74 and M73 motorway improvement programme in Scotland, a £500m national infrastructure project delivered over three years. Acting as a liaison between the Scottish Government and the delivery contractor Ferrovial Lagan, we supported the development and delivery of communication strategies throughout design, construction and early operation. The scope also involved detailed engagement with local communities and stakeholders along the route, addressing concerns, managing expectations and identifying opportunities to reduce disruption and improve outcomes for surrounding areas during construction. The work required careful coordination across multiple parties, clear messaging in a highly visible environment, and ongoing dialogue to support public understanding and trust as the project progressed.

Listening Campaign
Aye Media was appointed to design and deliver a three-phase Listening Campaign at Whiteshell Laboratories in Canada, a highly regulated nuclear site with a workforce of 500+ staff across on-site, hybrid and remote roles. The purpose of the campaign was to assess organisational culture, understand staff experience and support measurable cultural improvement during a period of change. Delivered over 18 months, the campaign gathered insight directly from staff, tracked progress over time and informed leadership decision-making. Alongside delivering the Listening Campaign, Aye Media also supported the development and delivery of the organisation’s culture improvement plan throughout the programme. By Phase 3, participants reported an 82% improvement in organisational culture.

Community Engagement
Aye Media worked with the communications team at SP Energy Networks on the partnering campaign with Glasgow Warriors. The partnership successfully combined community engagement with public awareness messaging, delivering both social and practical outcomes over the three-year programme. Through sustained visibility at match days, schools activity and grassroots rugby initiatives, the campaign helped encourage greater participation in sport among girls, with rugby presented as accessible, inclusive and community-focused. At the same time, the ongoing integration of messaging around the 105 powercut reporting number significantly increased awareness of the service, embedding it within community-facing activity rather than standalone communications. By aligning public safety messaging with trusted local sport and youth engagement, the campaign strengthened recognition of SP Energy Networks’ role in the communities it serves while supporting long-term behaviour change and awareness.

Story Telling through Social
Aye Media supports a number of organisations with ongoing social media management, helping articulate their message clearly and reach the audiences that matter. We plan, create and edit, then review content performance to inform what comes next. Rather than prioritising volume, our approach focuses on quality, relevance and intent. We combine well-considered, purposeful content with more informal or timely posts, ensuring everything shared has a clear reason for being there. The result is social content that feels purposeful, credible and trustworthy.

Public Relations
We worked with The Wee House Company to deliver a focused national PR programme. The brief was to raise profile through mainstream media, resulting in extensive coverage across newspapers, magazines and online platforms, alongside broadcast features on Channel 4, BBC Two and BBC Alba, including appearances on Grand Designs and My Kind of Town. Alongside media activity, we led a strategic awards programme. In 2020, The Wee House Company won the Build It Award, followed by founder Jennifer Higgins being named Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards. The programme significantly increased national visibility and positioned the business as a leader in modular housing innovation.

One-off Promotion
Neil Mullarkey helps teams and leaders build creativity, confidence and collaboration through improvisation. Known for Whose Line Is It Anyway, the Austin Powers films and as a co-founder of the Comedy Store Players, Neil approached us to create some promotional videos designed for social media that clearly captured what he does in under two minutes, while also supporting his book and the Comedy Store Players. Following initial remote-filmed sessions, we realised that Neil’s strongest moments came when he was thinking on his feet- entirely apt given his profession! A second shoot, built around unannounced questions, allowed his authenticity, wit and insight to come through naturally. The final result was a set of high-quality, evergreen video assets that can be reused across platforms over time, alongside a brilliant blooper reel capturing some standout moments and a perfect reflection of Neil’s belief that every moment is an opportunity to enhance creativity and charisma.

Strategic Communications
Aye Media supported a large, multinational engineering consultancy operating in highly regulated energy and infrastructure sectors across Europe. The organisation was navigating complex stakeholder environments, technical scrutiny and reputational considerations across multiple projects. We provided strategic communications support, including stakeholder insight, message clarification and advisory input to senior teams. The work focused on strengthening clarity, consistency and confidence as the organisation entered new European markets.

One-off Marketing
Aye Media developed a marketing plan for a specialist engineering firm that did not have the budget for a full-time marketing role. The focus was on creating a clear, sustainable approach that could be maintained in-house and support their B2B marketing activity. We delivered a tailored marketing strategy, supported by a comprehensive brand voice guide and clear content guidance and training outlining what posts should look and feel like across channels. This enabled an internal team member to confidently manage ongoing marketing activity, ensuring consistency and clarity without ongoing external support.
